MLM Training: To Earn Like the Pros, You Gotta Act Like the Pros

MLM training: What you need to do.

All too often, network marketing newbies wrongly assume a few things about the MLM training pros and leaders in

MLM training is key to your network marketing success — and the fastest way to get to there from here.

their field. Like:

1) that MLM leaders have closely-guarded, insider secrets;

2) that MLM leaders are just plain lucky;

3) that MLM leaders have so big a fan base that it’s impossible for anyone to compete;

and on and on, blah blah blah.

Listen. Here’s the most important bit of MLM training you will find anywhere on the Internet: If you fall into the trap of believing any or all three of the above, then it’s time to either

1) hang it up; or

2) retrain your brain.

Plain and simple.

After all, growing a business is hard work. And if you start out of the gate assuming that business success involves secret knowledge, luck, and scarcity, then… why bother?

You might as well declare defeat and get it over with.

Now, if you’re willing to do the second thing (i.e., retrain your brain), then I congratulate you. Because although it is true that “MLM training” pros and leaders may know a few things that you don’t (at least, to start with), it’s not because they are part of some secret society.

In fact, it’s because they’ve put in the time, they’ve done their research, they’ve gotten tons of MLM training, and they have put that training to good use.

Like, daily.

And guess what that means?  With a little bit of digging and a great deal of persistence, you, too, can possess those same techniques and methods the that top producers within the industry use every day to cultivate their business and thrive.

Let’s tackle that second assumption, shall we? (Because after all, effective MLM training means dispelling crappy thinking.)

While it may also be true that good timing can play a big role in the success that an MLM leader enjoys, you’re doing yourself a HUGE disservice if you’ve resigned yourself to sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the next round of good timing to come along.

Good timing doesn’t come along. It’s right here, right now.

When was it good timing for Ray Higdon, the top producer in Numis Network? The day he made a start.

What about MLM training expert Rob Fore, who has built several successful network marketing companies? His first round of good timing began on the day that he decided to launch his first MLM.

And so it goes with every MLM training expert or professional:  They made a start. They took a step. And then another one, and another one.

Since we’re knocking it out, let’s tackle the final (laughable) assumption, that MLM training professionals and leaders enjoy a corner on the market.

Every month, Google reports, over 1,000,000 people search for MLM opportunities.

Daily? That comes out to 333,333.33 UNIQUE searches. Every. Single. Day.

Now, can you honestly still think, after knowing this, that any one person, or group of individuals, could possibly service the needs of all of these people, every day?

The truth is, it’s a huge pool, there’s growing demand for work from home opportunities (see: recent economy stats), and besides all of that, 97 percent of people that start a network marketing business give up within the first three months.

Okay, so now that that’s out of the way, let’s take a look at the things that top MLM training professionals and leaders in this industry DO do in order to make it big in this industry. Because once you learn their techniques, and emulate them, you can’t help but succeed.

MLM training: Common Traits

Here’s what all MLM leaders have in common:

1. They treat their business as a business. Not a pastime, not a hobby. A business.

2. They are entrepreneurs.

3. They started their businesses with realistic, reachable goals.

4. They knew and accepted that success takes time and work.

5. “Failure” is not a word they understand.

6. “Temporary setback” is, and they treat these accordingly.

7. They learned from those setbacks.

8. They maintain a positive outlook.

9. They fully understand that MLM success is a numbers game. As such, they network. A lot. A lot, a lot. And then, they network some more.

10. They share what they know.

And that’s it.
